By Far the Best

Ok, so this is by far the best place I have found. One I actually found a little background information on and the previous owner. On the outside of the garage there was a little plaque with the guy's name on it. Inside I found a plat book (book of landownership and acreage) and found his name in there and property. I did a Google search and found his obituary from 2003. So the house had been sitting empty at least since then. The house was fully furnished and held many memories, I am sure. My aunt and her significant other are going to do some checking on the tax information on the house, just out of curiosity.

The house. The door on the lower level is the main entryway.

Two-car garage. Inside there was a riding lawnmower and odds and ends of tools. I didn't linger inside to take photos because it was super hot.

Laundry area. This is where the main door opened up into.

Fairly large storage area.

Bowling ball and a table. This is by the previously mentioned storage room and the same room as the laundry area. This is all in the main entryway.

This is the bedroom area. All of this is in the basement along with the bathroom.

Closet with clothing.

More clothes on hangers.

This was on the dresser next to the bed. There were two Bibles and a belt rolled up and ready to be used.

Now for the upstairs. This is the living room area. Everything was pretty much in one big room.

Living room chair. I'm thinking the last time this place was decorated was in the 70s.

Heated with a wood stove.

Secretary roll top desk.

Notes and numbers on the bulletin board.

End table by the couch.

A family photo.

Horse knick-knacks in a glass mirror cabinet.

Electric typewriter?

Dining table. After siting for 12 or so years, that flashlight still worked. (The orange thing on the table.)

Dishes in the drainer.

Anyone wanna do some dishes?

Cupboards still with food and dishes.

Pantry still with dishes some food items.

Recipes pinned up in the kitchen.

I love those dishes.
